Matthew Aláin Agramonte is an associate attorney primarily concentrating his practice in the areas of tax, corporate law, and other general transactional services. 

Mr. Agramonte, a Miami native, earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Studies from the University of Florida in 2013, where he also earned degrees in Latin American Studies, Spanish Literature, and Portuguese Language and Linguistics.  While at the University of Florida, Mr. Agramonte was the Treasurer and President of the University’s Cuban-American Student Association.

Mr. Agramonte earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami in 2017 as a Dean’s Merit Scholarship Recipient. He was a member of the school’s Inter-American Law Review. Upon graduation, Mr. Agramonte continued his studies at the University of Miami, earning a Master’s in Law (LL.M.) in Taxation with a concentration in International Tax Law on a part-time basis while practicing as a full-time attorney at a then-ranked Am Law 100 firm, where Mr. Agramonte worked on international litigious matters, assisting said firm in the translation, interpretation, and analysis of pertinent documentation and evidence in cases involving tort, tax, and corporate issues.

After receiving his LL.M., Mr. Agramonte worked at an Am Law 200 firm as an associate in the firm’s Tax and International Law group, where he assisted in the planning and implementation of tax efficient structures for foreign and domestic companies, as well as high-net worth individuals. 

Mr. Agramonte is a native Spanish speaker, and is both fluent and proficient in Portuguese. Mr. Agramonte is a proud first-generation Cuban-American, enjoying travel, reading, spending quality time with his wife and his golden retriever, the company of family and friends, and playing and watching sports. He dedicates his practice to his late uncle, Luís Manuel Pérez, a former federal prosecutor who inspired Mr. Agramonte to study law.
