Jacob Post is an associate attorney in the litigation practice group at SMGQ law. Mr. Post primarily practices in the areas of commercial litigation, business litigation, and real estate litigation. Mr. Post also has experience in the areas of professional malpractice, employment and labor law, and homeowners’ association and condominium law. In addition, Mr. Post has litigated a wide variety of business-related subject matters, including breach of fiduciary duty actions, trademark infringement, false and misleading advertisements, fraud, FDUPTA, breach of contract, tortious interference, and fraudulent conveyances.
Prior to joining SMGQ Law, Mr. Post worked in the complex commercial litigation division at one of the largest insurance defense litigation law firms in the State of Florida. Mr. Post earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school, he served as the Galleys Editor on the Journal of Technology Law and Policy and received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for his achievement in Advanced Trusts & Estates.
