Kendall Dr. Christina's book tour this summer will include visits to large as well as independent book stores throughout North America including Orlando, Tallahassee, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey, Boston, New Hampshire, Los Angeles and Toronto.

After a week-long jury trial, Peter A. González, Gustavo D. Lage and Augusto R. López recently obtained a defense verdict in favor of their developer-client and against client's former employee who asserted a claim for breach of joint venture agreement on $34 million worth of condo conversion projects. The jury also found in favor of our client's counterclaims for breach of employment contract.

Gustavo D. Lage, together with co-counsel Doug Ede, obtained $950,000 jury verdict. Mr. Lage and Mr. Ede represented the Elias Family (father, mother and daughter) in a personal injury lawsuit against Enterprise Leasing Company and Amadio Russo arising out of an auto accident, where the defense offered $50,000 to settle before trial. Mr. Elias asserted a loss of consortium claim, Mrs. Elias had two un-operated herniated discs and un-operated injury to her knee, and the daughter suffered from soft tissue injuries to her neck and back, and exacerbation of polycystic ovarian syndrome alleged to have been caused by the accident. After a week-long trial, the jury awarded the Elias Family nearly $1 million, plus attorneys' fees and costs.
Through Summer 2009, Pablo S. Quesada has successfully structured investment funds for the private placement of equity securities exceeding $500 million for clients engaged in a variety of industries.
